19 of the Russian's 21 championships have been earned on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev claimed his initial title for over two years with a win over Corentin Moutet in the competition championship match.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has experienced a challenging year, winning just one win at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and struggles with his serve in particular - resulted in him dropping out of the top ten and eventually splitting with former trainer Gilles Cervara.
Currently training with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the recent weeks - culminating in a tightly fought three-set win over opponent Moutet.
This marks Medvedev's maiden championship following the Rome competition and maiden on a hard surface since spring of the previous year.
Victory also signifies he has achieved twenty-one victories at twenty-one distinct tournaments.
"For the first time I have attended a tournament with my children at once, so to win a championship is really nice," commented world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my child my daughter, because the initial championship I got when my child her name was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had lost his past six finals, comprising in Halle previously this season.
Medvedev's counter-punching play style and regular emotional displays on the tennis court had caused some to question if his ability to play at the highest level was over.
However the player has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, making an effort to come to the net and play aggressively, backed up by an improved service.
The champion recovered from a disadvantage in the opening set against the challenging Frenchman, taking 4 of the last five games to take the lead.
The competitors traded breaks in the second set before Moutet, bidding for his maiden ATP Tour victory, took control to create a final set.
Moutet saved 4 early-game break points in a close final set before the Russian won the break to fifteen to secure the win.
Appropriately, Medvedev clinched the title with a rally at the net area, with Moutet failing to manage a return after over two and a half hours.
